Good Works

Doing good works is good but believing good doing makes you like God is the cornerstone of death. Many believe in God when it comes to going to heaven but cannot believe in God when it comes to works. We believe in Him and receive the Holy Spirit. We believe in Him and receive heaven, all this free from our effort. Why can we not believe in Him and receive good works for free?

The Soul

Man was created in the image of God. He was made a living soul when God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. However, the soul, which is made right with every faculty, trait and appetite as God’s own, needs an inner motivator to operate according to its full potential. Thus the two trees were set before man. The one tree would cause the soul to flow in harmony with God, the other would misuse the soul and all its precious faculties. In that sense there has never been anything wrong with the soul. The only wrong has been the indweller, the spirit-person who has governed it. The soul must be in a relationship to a deity. It is created in that manner. Its return to God ends its misery of misuse and maltreatment, and it is in God loved without limit so that it again can stand in full bloom in all its radiant glory. - Ole Henrik Skjelstad

Unpardonable Sin

By virtue of the finished work of Christ at Calvary, sin is no more an issue with God. No one goes to hell for the sins one has committed because Christ has already paid the price for them. If there is a sin that is unpardonable, it is unbelief or rejection of Christ and His finished work. - Leopoldo Paul Solis

How to read a testament

The best way for me to read the bible is not with the purpose to see what shortcomings I have or what I should do but to see what I have inherited in the death and resurrection of Jesus. A slave read a testament to see who he is working for next, a son reads it to see what he inherited and who he has become by the death of the one who made the testament. Lets read as sons and not slaves. You would hate to work for what you have. Heb 9:15-16 - Bertie Brits

วิธีที่ดีที่สุดสำหรับผมในการอ่านพระคัมภีร์ไม่ใช่เพื่อดูว่าผมมีอะไรขาดตกบกพร่องไปบ้างหรือดูว่าผมควรทำอะไร แต่เพื่อดูว่าผมได้รับมรดกอะไรบ้างในการตายและฟื้นคืนพระชนม์ของพระเยซู ทาสอ่านพินัยกรรมเพื่อจะดูว่าใครคือคนต่อไปที่เขาต้องทำงานให้ บุตรอ่านพินัยกรรมเพื่อจะดูว่าเขาได้รับมรดกอะไรบ้างและเขาได้กลายเป็นใครแล้วโดยการตายของผู้ที่ทำพินัยกรรมนั้น ให้เราอ่านดังบุตรไม่ใช่ทาส คุณจะเกลียดที่จะทำงานเพื่อสิ่งที่คุณมี (ฮบ.9:15-16)
