Unpardonable Sin

How to read a testament

The best way for me to read the bible is not with the purpose to see what shortcomings I have or what I should do but to see what I have inherited in the death and resurrection of Jesus. A slave read a testament to see who he is working for next, a son reads it to see what he inherited and who he has become by the death of the one who made the testament. Multiplication of Flesh or Grace?

When God corrects my actions I always refer it to a correction of belief. Any action in our lives is a reflection of belief. Paul said it this way - why do you do this or that wrong, don't you know you are ... Correction in action apart from correction in belief is fleshly and can bring great pride to our lives. Inner Voice of God

So many times we want to hear the voice of God - what is the "voice inside" that we should hear. An inner voice is a feeling or emotion based on a belief, we can also call it "will". Paul's testimony is very different than most I have heard. His does not start out with "when I made a decision for Christ" or "when I came to repentance then God"...He reversed the whole thing. He starts with "When it pleased God to reveal...His son in me." He begins with God making the first move and his response is never spoken of as a willful decision--it is just mentioned as the consequence !!
